Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use dreamersmarkets.com, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Where we stand

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard. We fix accessibility problems as we find them or as they are reported to us.

This is our own assessment of our own site, not a certification by anyone else, and we have not tested every combination of browser and assistive technology. Where we know something falls short, we would rather say so here than leave you to find it.

What we know is not right yet

• Photo descriptions on the markets list. Many of the market photographs on our events page share one general description instead of describing that particular picture, so a screen reader tells you a photo is there but not what is in it. No information you need in order to attend is carried by a photograph alone: every market’s date, venue, address and admission are published as text on its own page.
• Depth of venue access detail. Our venue pages cover parking and arrival at the venues we return to, but they do not yet set out step-free routes or accessible restrooms venue by venue. Until they do, email us about a specific market and we will find out and tell you.
• Pages we do not build. The surfaces listed below are made by other companies. We cannot fix them, and we do not claim they meet this standard.

We have not set public target dates for these, because we would rather not publish a date we might miss. They are fixed as we get to them, and a report from you moves one up the list.

Outside our direct control

• Our vendor application form is hosted on Wix at dm.dreamersmarkets.com.
• Our Eventbrite event pages are run by Eventbrite.
• Our Instagram and Pinterest pages are run on those platforms.
• Our vendor app listings on the App Store and Google Play are run by Apple and Google.
• Google Maps handles the directions links on our venue pages.

We cannot change how those platforms are built. If one of them stops you from applying or getting event details, email us and we will help you through it.

Tell us about a barrier

One address, read by a person: email hello@dreamersmarkets.com with the page address and what did not work. It is the same address we answer everything else on, and we reply personally to every message. If it is easier, tell us what you were trying to do and we will do it with you rather than making you wait for a fix.
